It was purchased from a public auction held within the grounds of "Beryldene" in St. Annes near Blackpool, the last home of George and Beryl. Beryl had died the previous Christmas, and George followed 3 months later on March 6th 1961.
The auction was required because George's family opposed his final will. It is in excellent condition with number stamp D/2173 to head, with supporting letter from the vendor

A limited Edition of 1,500 this one being number 23 and signed by Freddy. The set contains reprinted programmes, handbills and tickets from the first six festivals which featured, The Allman Bros, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Genesis, Zappa/Tubes and Led Zeppelin. Also included is a box of 43: 6" x 8" photographs including some never seen before of the Stones and Led Zeppelin. In addition there is a 330-page book written by Freddy Bannister containing many illustrations and loads of behind the scenes and backstage stories, including exactly what did happen at Led Zeppelin's last ever UK gigs.
